Mobile app privacy and controls

Google AdMob supplies non-personalised banner ads in the mobile apps. Its SDK may process IP addresses (including approximate location), app- or device-scoped identifiers, diagnostic and performance data, ad impressions and ad interactions for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. We do not request permission for cross-app tracking or pass your email or player tag to AdMob. Advertising privacy choices are available in Settings when required. An active ad-free subscription stops banner ad requests. These ads are separate from optional Firebase Analytics, and separate from the Google AdSense advertising we have applied to show on the website (pending approval); the apps never load the website's ad scripts.

Optional notifications use Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service. When you enable them, we store a device token, platform, language, timezone, selected notification categories and linked player tag. You can disable all notifications or individual categories in Settings, and revoke permission in your device settings.

Optional Firebase Analytics is off until you enable it. App event names and screen categories help us understand usage; we do not attach your email or player tag to those events. Analytics derives an approximate location (such as country or region) from a masked IP address; it does not request device location permission. Advertising storage and advertising personalization are disabled. You can disable analytics and reset its local identifier in Settings.

RevenueCat verifies Apple and Google purchases using an account identifier and purchase history. Payment details are handled by your store; Stripe continues to manage existing web subscriptions, but no new web subscriptions are sold. Restore Purchases and subscription management are available in the app’s Settings.

An active subscription also raises how often BrawlCity collects new battles for the player tags saved to your account. To do this we store the subscription state of your account alongside your saved tags and use it to schedule public game-data requests; the resulting battle records are public game data and are visible to everyone, as they already are for any other tracked tag.

On-device profile snapshots retain public game details and a minimal primary-player reference for up to 24 hours. They refresh in the background, never authorize a purchase, and can be disabled or cleared in Settings. Authentication tokens use the device’s secure storage separately. Signing out clears the profile snapshot cache.

Delete your Brawlcity account and associated data directly on this website or from Account/Settings in the app. Apple and Google subscriptions must be cancelled in the store separately; web Stripe subscriptions are cancelled during deletion. Public game statistics can remain without the deleted account association, and payment providers may retain records required by law.

BrawlCity (“BrawlCity”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is operated by Loadout SARL, a company established in Switzerland.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use BrawlCity.

  • Brawler-specific leaderboards
  • battle histories of other players
  • player searches made through BrawlCity

This information is used to provide statistics, rankings and aggregated Brawl Stars analytics.

We may also create aggregated or anonymized statistics that no longer identify an individual.

6. Meta and Statistical Analysis

A core function of BrawlCity is to analyze Brawl Stars matches and player activity.

We may combine information obtained from many public Brawl Stars players to calculate statistics such as:

  • Brawler pick rate
  • Brawler win rate
  • popularity
  • Meta Score
  • Brawler rankings
  • tier lists
  • map performance
  • game-mode performance
  • player population trends
  • Brawler combinations
  • matchup statistics
  • counter statistics
  • historical trends

These statistics may be published publicly on BrawlCity.

We may retain historical game data to maintain the accuracy and usefulness of these analyses.

7. Authentication Providers

BrawlCity may allow users to authenticate using:

Google

If you choose Google Sign-In, Google may provide us with information associated with your Google account, such as:

  • email address
  • name
  • profile image
  • Google account identifier

The information received depends on the permissions requested and granted.

Email and Password

You may also be able to create an account using an email address and password. Authentication is handled through our authentication infrastructure.

Additional authentication providers may be added in the future.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

BrawlCity uses cookies and similar technologies.

These may include:

Strictly Necessary Cookies

Used for:

  • authentication
  • session management
  • security
  • account functionality
  • user preferences

These cookies are necessary for BrawlCity to function correctly.

Analytics Cookies

With consent where required, we may use analytics technologies to understand:

  • visitor numbers
  • page views
  • traffic sources
  • feature usage
  • user journeys
  • device information

Advertising Cookies

BrawlCity is preparing Google AdSense advertising on a small number of website pages; the application to Google is pending and ads are not approved or live yet. Where advertising runs on the website, and where it is enabled in the mobile applications, advertising partners may use cookies, device or browser identifiers, IP addresses (from which a general location such as country or region is derived), page context and ad interaction data to:

  • deliver advertising
  • measure ad performance
  • limit repeated ads
  • detect invalid traffic
  • personalize advertising where legally permitted

Website ad requests are paused until a certified consent management platform records your choice. If you decline, or no choice has been recorded, no ad request is made. Advertising consent is separate from optional analytics consent, and you can reopen your choice at any time through the "Privacy & ad choices" link in the site footer.

Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies will only be activated after receiving user consent.

Users may withdraw or modify their cookie preferences through BrawlCity's cookie settings where available.

9. Google Analytics

BrawlCity may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the service.

Google Analytics may process information such as:

  • IP-related information
  • device information
  • browser information
  • page views
  • interaction events
  • approximate location
  • traffic sources
  • cookie or device identifiers

Where required, Google Analytics will be activated only after appropriate consent has been obtained.

10. Advertising

BrawlCity has applied to show Google AdSense advertising on the website. The application is pending: the website is not approved for advertising yet and no ads are live. When advertising does run, it will appear as a small number of clearly labelled units on public pages only — never on sign-in, password reset, settings, account, dashboard, admin or player profile pages, and never as automatic, full-screen or anchored ads.

Advertising providers may include:

  • Google AdSense (website)
  • Google AdMob (mobile applications)
  • other advertising platforms or networks added in the future

Advertising providers may use cookies, pixels, device or browser identifiers and similar technologies, and may process your IP address (and the general location derived from it), the page you are viewing, and your ad impressions and interactions, for serving, measuring and protecting advertising against fraud. Google's use of this information is governed by Google's own advertising and privacy policies, and Google acts as an independent controller for parts of this processing.

Website ad requests are configured as non-personalized and are made only after a certified consent management platform reports a valid consent outcome. No ad request is made when consent is declined or unknown, in the native applications, on preview or development addresses, or for accounts with an active ad-free subscription.

Users may withdraw or change their choice through the "Privacy & ad choices" link in the website footer, through their advertising provider settings or through their device settings.

11. Payments and Subscriptions

Every BrawlCity tool is free. The mobile applications offer one optional subscription with two benefits: the removal of advertising in the application, and automatic battle-log syncing roughly every ten minutes for saved player tags; the website sells no subscription.

Payments may be processed through Stripe.

When you make a payment, Stripe may collect information including:

  • name
  • email
  • billing information
  • payment method information
  • transaction details
  • IP address
  • fraud-prevention information

BrawlCity does not need to receive or store your complete payment card number when payments are processed directly by Stripe.

We may retain:

  • Stripe customer identifier
  • subscription identifier
  • subscription status
  • plan
  • payment status
  • transaction references

for account and subscription management.

12. Emails

BrawlCity may send service-related emails including:

  • email verification
  • password reset
  • security alerts
  • account notifications
  • subscription notifications
  • payment confirmations
  • important service announcements

We may also introduce optional emails in the future, such as:

  • Brawl Stars meta updates
  • ranking changes
  • player alerts
  • newsletters
  • product announcements
  • promotional communications

Where required, marketing emails will only be sent with appropriate permission.

Users will be able to unsubscribe from marketing communications.

We may still send essential service or account communications after marketing communications have been disabled.

Where applicable, users will be provided with any legally required opt-out mechanisms.

  • player names
  • player tags
  • trophies

Account Information

Normally retained for the duration of the user's account and for a reasonable period afterward where necessary for security, legal or operational purposes.

Technical Logs

May generally be retained for approximately 30 to 90 days, although some security or audit information may be retained for longer where necessary.

  • preserve statistical datasets

Where appropriate, data may instead be anonymized or aggregated.

18. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their BrawlCity account.

Deleting a BrawlCity account does not necessarily delete independently collected public Brawl Stars information.

For example, a player's:

  • public player tag
  • public game statistics
  • leaderboard records
  • historical match information
  • anonymized or aggregated statistics

may remain where this information was independently obtained through the official Brawl Stars API and is required for legitimate statistical, historical or analytical purposes.
