Trophies, rankings and leaderboards explained

How trophies move, what the global, country and Brawler leaderboards actually rank, and how BrawlCity records them over time.

Trophies are the game's long-running progress measure, and they drive most of the rankings you see. This guide explains what each leaderboard represents on BrawlCity and how the recorded history is built.

How trophies move

You gain trophies for wins and lose them for defeats, per Brawler, with the amounts depending on how high that Brawler already sits. Higher-trophy Brawlers gain less and lose more, which is why total trophies climb more slowly the further you push.

What each leaderboard ranks

Global and country leaderboards rank players and clubs by total trophies. Brawler leaderboards rank players by the trophies held on one specific Brawler, which is why the names there differ from the overall boards.

Snapshots, not live scraping

BrawlCity stores leaderboard snapshots on a schedule and keeps them, so a board page can show what changed rather than only today's order. Each recorded board states when its snapshot was taken.

Following your own progress

Link your Brawl Stars ID to a BrawlCity account and the site records your profile over time: trophy history, per-Brawler progress, sessions and streaks, all built from the same battle records that power the public rankings.
